Fairleigh Kindy aims to provide experiences which encourage competent and confident learners in a safe, stimulating and secure environment. Individuality and a positive self esteem are encouraged, along with co-operation, awareness of others and independence. The experiences offered foster creativity and an interest in learning. A high ratio of qualified staff to children, excellent resources and a safe, well maintained environment ensure these aims can be achieved.

Important News for Parents
Dear Parents
As you will all be aware, this year’s budget included cuts to the ECE funding, in particular for all early childhood centres like ours with 100% qualified teachers. These changes in Government funding will impact on 92,000 children in 2,000 centres nationwide. The result will be a significant drop in Government funding from February 2011.The usual length of each term next year has also been adjusted for all kindergartens and schools in 2011 due to the World Cup.
While these changes to our funding are disappointing, our kindergarten remains committed to maintaining the quality of our teaching. We will continue to use the 20 Hours ECE funding to subsidise the cost to families but we will need to increase our membership fees.
Currently children attending morning sessions pay $100 +GST per term, while children attending afternoon sessions pay $50 +GST. We envisage changes will increase to the following:

| Term 4 | $270 +GST | $120 +GST |
While these new changes will not take effect until February next year however
the GST is effective as of term four in October. We wish to give parents
as much notice as possible and if you have any questions regarding these
