We chose Fairleigh because of the small numbers, the clean and well resourced environment, the excellent and caring staff and the community feel
I love that the teachers have been there since my daughter started– this shows that it’s not only a lovely kindergarten to send our child to but also a great place to work. I love the consistency this provides for my daughter too
We like the fact Fairleigh is community and child focused, rather than commercial. Also the facilities are fantastic coupled with great teachers. We couldn’t have made a better choice and our daughter loves it. Her learning and communication has surpassed our expectations.
I feel that Fairleigh teachers really know our children and meet their needs every day in a hundred ways. We don’t feel they are a number, we feel like they are a member of a community which is so great.
We chose Fairleigh because of the friendly, open staff with high level qualifications who were engaging on our visits and provided great strategies to transition our son. There are a huge number of resources both inside and out for the children to use to challenge, teach and create a fun place to play. The outdoor area is big and has some unique spaces such as the bike and ball play areas. It is always clean and tidy
The Kahikatea group (school preparation) is fantastic and I am thrilled our son has been involved in various games and activities to build his interpersonal and fine motor skills. The teachers have all worked collectively to prepare our son for school with a strong foundation
When we visited Fairleigh, we were immediately struck by the extremely approachable and professional staff; the well resourced facilities and above all, the calm environment.
Fairleigh is different to other centres we have experienced because the teachers are fully engaged in play alongside the children rather than just a supervision mindset. A range of activities is set up each day for the children to learn from and grow. Fairleigh strives to go above and beyond in relation to visitors coming in to share with the children or to go out in to the community
“Fairleigh has a wonderfully varied and engaging programme that enables children to explore, foster friendships and try new activities within a supportive environment.”
